Well, it's another Memorial Day weekend, and I hope it is a happy one for you! I am grateful to all of our veterans for their dedication to their country past and present. I know it means for some a day off of work, but it certainly gives us time to reflect on what they have sacrificed for our freedom. It is really amazing when you really think about it.
Today is my husband's birthday - Happy Birthday Bruce! It was especially nice, because he didn't work at all today, and I am grateful for that!
On to my healing journey...this weekend was pretty uneventful...starting out with what I thought was allergies, and now is a cold. No caution to the wind with my food intake. I seem to feel better when I continuously eat; then I don't worry about blowing my nose or coughing! Anyway, tomorrow will be a better, healthier day. Hope all of you are doing well.
Feel free to blog how you spent your Memorial Day! I hope the sun is shining!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to my Blog!
It is Saturday night, and I decide to get this Blog started! I'll start out by stating to check out my new website, http://www.healorganically.com/. I am working towards a health counseling career. I will blog updates for you. I will be able to start seeing clients as early as next month.
It has been a long journey, but such a rewarding one.
My own "heal organically" experience started about 2 years ago. After going through a cholecystectomy (gallbladder removed) 4 years ago, I started having digestive issues (constipation, diarrhea, fun stuff like that). After some not so great advice from my surgeon, I decided to go the healthy route, and found a naturopath to help me on my healing journey.
After discovering some food sensitivities, I removed gluten and dairy from my diet, and I felt significantly better. This process was a little difficult at first. Many emotions came up, but really helped get me through the difficult struggles. Crying can be a good thing! A side benefit to this was that I lost about 60 lbs.
More to this story later...
